The first and still the only secondary aluminum producing company in Cyprus ECONOMIDES METAL RECYCLING LTD can produce Deoxidant Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys in ingot or pyramid form.
Production takes place in the company’s plant in Nicosia. Incoming Scrap Classification Sampling is done to establish the spectrometric profile of the available material. Process control is based on a Continuous Sampling-Testing Scheme according to the alloy type. Conformity to specifications is constantly aimed. Final Acceptance Sampling is done during casting to ensure the material is homogeneous and chemically accurate. Certificate of Analysis is provided with every load and all final samples are stored for use in case of dispute. This has not occurred yet.
The ingots are stacked, wrapped, bundled and marked according to their type. Pyramids are loaded loose in uniform loads.
